PLANET ANT-FP15AD is the 5GHz 15dBi Flat Panel Dual Polarization Directional Antenna equipped with two N-type female connectors. The antenna increases wireless signal coverage and improves signal strength and quality for the current wireless environment. Effectively enhancing the performance and coverage range of 802.11a/n 5GHz equipment, the ANT-FP15AD is quite suitable for outdoor WLAN application, such as point to point connection between the warehouses.
The ANT-FP15AD Dual Polarization Directional Antenna can operate in vertical as well as horizontal polarization. Dual polarized antennas are suitable for 802.11n devices to enable multi-thread communication. This enables the device to transmit data on one polarization and receive data on the other simultaneously. The advantage of this is that multi-thread communication can be achieved with the use of one antenna instead of using two independent (and opposite polarized) antennas for the same result. Obviously all the networking equipment in the wireless network must be multi-thread compliant for this to work. |
